By phone or in person. We work out whether your story is a film and what scope it would take. No obligation.
1–2 WEEKS
Preparation
Together we set the themes, the people and the places. You approve every theme before the camera is switched on.
2–4 DAYS
Filming
Shoot days can be split up so they do not cut into your schedule.
3–5 WEEKS
Edit
You watch the first cut. Your notes go in before anyone else sees the film.
ONE DAY
Handover
The finished film, a short version for sharing, and all the original footage — on a drive that stays with you.

I have more than a hundred shoot days behind the camera on film and documentary sets. I work with a small crew, because people open up faster in front of a small crew.

QUESTIONS
What people ask most often.

There is no price list, because no two stories are the same. Two things set the price: how many shoot days your story needs and how long the finished film should be. We settle both in the first call, and you get a ballpark figure there and then.

A few shoot days, which can be split up, and one viewing of the first cut. Everything else is on us.

Most of the people we film have never been in front of a camera. The first hour usually gives us nothing usable — which is exactly why we film longer than strictly necessary.

Only the people you show it to. We publish it solely with your written permission.

It stays yours. You receive a copy of all the original footage when the film is handed over.
